The Brunswick Town Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution promotes Constitution Week Awareness inviting all citizens to participate in Bells Across America.
Constitution Week, September 17-23, is the national celebration of the 232nd anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution. The DAR invites all churches, schools, courthouses, fire houses, veterans' homes, city governments, and individuals to participate in Bells Across America to commemorate Constitution Week by ringing bells on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 4:00PM.
This week-long commemoration of America’s most important document is one of the country’s least known official observances. The Constitution stands as a testament to the tenacity of Americans throughout history to maintain their liberties and freedom, and to ensure those inalienable rights to every American.
Let's work together to honor our heritage, focus on the future, and celebrate one of nation's most important documents that stands as an icon of freedom. Ring bells on Tuesday, September 17 at 4 PM.
