Mary Jo Schnepf talked about 911 at our DAR meeting which was held on September 11, 2023. Mary Joe is a blue Star Mother. A Blue Star Family is a military family with a loved one who is serving in the U.S. military during a time of conflict. A Gold Star Family is a military family which has lost a loved one during the war. She has 2 bulletin boards on display behind her at the meeting. Brunswick Town DAR Regent, presented the former DAR Regent, with an award at the meeting. She received 1st Place for from NC State with submitting 234 GRC pages of Bible Transcription Records to National.
Brunswick Town Publicity Chair, blog manager and Wreaths Across America co-ordinator received awards from Brunswick Town Regent at their September meeting. They each received an award for providing information about their chapter through having exemplary computer skills for 2022. Present Regent presented past Regent the Past-Chapter Regent the Brunswick Town Chapter pin.
