The Brunswick Town Regent presented awards to Members from the 124th State Conference

The Regent also presented awards to members from the 124th State Conference.  The Chapter’s Genealogy Library garnered a 1st Place America 250 award, and our Chapter received the New Member Award for 10 or more new members. She also distributed a number of individual awards.

MAY SPEAKER: Ann Landis The speaker for our May 8th meeting was Ann Landis, the former State President of the General Federation Woman’s Club. She founded the local club after retiring here. Ann is originally from Wilkesboro, NC. She is a proud graduate of Appalachian State University. Her topic was the General Federation Woman’s Club and the GFWC of Holden Beach, NC

Our chaplain was able to at long last have everyone together at swear them to their positions. L to R: our DAR chaplain, 2nd Vice President, 1st Vice-President, and Regent of the Brunswick Town DAR chapter.
