Veteran's Day November 11th

Tuesday, November 11th, VETERAN’S DAY  Brunswick Town DAR Chapter will have a “thank you” to our Veterans for their service at the Brunswick Universal Health Care Center located at 1070 Old Ocean Highway, Boliva.  Lisa English will be coming from the Rockfish Chapter along with our Chair for Veteran’s Ella Maugans and member Rhonda Amato for a short program.  Brunswick Town Chapter will provide cupcakes for the Veterans.  If you would like to join us please feel free to drop by.  The event will start at 3:00pm.

Carol Canales Presents Pocket Flag to SSG Carlos A Riveria United States Army

Carol Canales discovered, SSG Carlos A Riveria United States Army in full fatigues She presented him with a Chapter Pocket Flag. He is stationed in Denton, Texas as a Recruiter and had been in the Army ten years. He has served as a mechanic, Drill SGT and presently a Recruiter.  He said he gets handshakes but nothing as special as the pocket flag.
