Our speaker will be Mr. John Braswell, a graduate of Wake Forest University, who worked for 38 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He is an active member of the Nathaniel Greene Chapter of SAR of Greensboro and has a passion for history. Mr. Braswell has a high degree of respect for the work the Daughters of the American Revolution have done, in preserving American History.He will be speaking on Colonial American women and their role in the Revolutionary War, specifically during the critical time of late 1780 to early 1781, in North Carolina. He will talk about how their actions were pivotal in the success of the soldiers at Guilford Courthouse, North Carolina.
