Town Chapter NSDAR Regent Carol Jutte recently attended a meeting of the Sons
of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, Major General Thomas H. Ruger Camp #1,
in Fayetteville, NC to present Vietnam Veterans with certificates and lapel
pins. The membership consists of 43 members, with 10 members having served
during the Vietnam War era. Mayme Tubbs, Regent of Colonel Thomas Robeson
Chapter, NSDAR assisted in pinning the lapel pins on the honored veterans
present, with one being her husband.
