NC BLUE STAR STATE BOOK DRIVE

   

The Brunswick Town DAR Chapter participated in the NC Blue Star State Book Drive Project this fall.  The Blue Star Families have either one or both parents in the active military, any branch of military and at any location.  By the donation of these books we help these children who move frequently, one or both parents absent for long periods of deployment and hopefully this will encourage reading throughout the year. Commemorative Events Chair, Dianna Conaty mailed to the state chair 62 books.
