The Brunswick Town Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold their meeting on Wednesday, January 8, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 20 East Nash Street, in Southport, NC at 10:00 am. The chapter will be celebrating 38 years of service. Come hear a presentation by Ms. Charen Fink on Women of the Civil War. Charen is a frequent guest speaker at the Civil War Round Table and several other history-related programs in Brunswick County. Her emphasis will be on women and the role they played during the War.
