Constitution Week Chair Diana Fotinatos and Committee Member Sandi Winstead have been busy getting things ready for Constitution Week which is
September 17-23. Activities planned to commemorate when the Constitution was signed 230 years ago aree:
Constitution Week display at Harper Library in Southport during September.
Churches and
Fire Stations in Southport will be participating in Bells Across America
on Sunday, 9/17 at 4:00 PM by ringing their bells.
Mayor Cin
Brochure will be signing and displaying a Proclamation in the Town Hall of
Oak Island for Constitution Week.

l Elementary schools in Bolivia,
Southport, and Supply have been contacted about our chapter making classroom
presentations, decorating bulletin boards, and distributing bookmarks to the
fifth-grade students who will be studying The Constitution as part of their
social studies curriculum.
