Prospective members of the Governor Benjamin Smith Chapter of the Children of the American Revolution, pictured above, volunteered at the Naturalization Ceremony in Southport on July 3. The children helped by setting up the water tables and serving cookies to the new citizens and their families.  The Children of the American Revolution is the oldest, largest children's patriotic organization on the country. Its goals are to train good citizens, develop leaders, and promote love of the United States of America and its heritage among young people.  For more information on how your child or grandchild can become members of the Children of the American Revolution (C.A.R.), please e-mail Dawn Schulte at mhock@atmc.net .
