Wreaths Across America - Let's all Purchase Wreaths

We Need 5,172 Wreaths to put a wreath on every grave of a Veteran.

As of January 21, 2023 our chapter has 106 wreaths purchased by just 14 members. As of December 4th we had 251. Just imagine what our total would be if all 188+ members would buy a wreath. That is amazing. Wreaths Across America has just started another 2-for-1 program as of December 16th -January 16, 2024. I would like to see all of us at the January DAR meeting purchase wreaths by either giving our treasurer a check made out to DAR Brunswick Town Chapter or ordering a wreath online.

The cost of wreaths is to $17.00.

If you are having problems ordering a wreath then call the main number for Wreaths Across America at 877-385-9504, someone will answer the phone M-F between 7am - 7pm. Sat. and Sunday 9am - 2pm. If you call at a different time you can leave your name and phone number and someone will return your call. You can buy a wreath by credit card or debit card. It takes about 5 minutes and you will get a receipt e-mailed to you right away. You need to tell the person you are ordering from that your group is Brunswick Town Chapter NSDAR (NC0009P) for our chapter to get credit for the order. You also need to tell them the cemetery is Wilmington National Cemetery, Wilmington, NC.

If you want to order by check make out a check to Brunswick Town DAR Chapter in the amount of money you want to spend on wreaths and give it to Treasurer, Keidre Koenig, who will order wreaths for our chapter with a debit card. Our chapter treasurer will be assisting in ordering wreaths by check. Brunswick Town Chapter members ordering a wreath should try to give her a check at a DAR Make out your check to Dar Brunswick Town Chapter and in the memo line put WAA. When Keidre gets a sufficient number of orders she will use her chapter debit card and in one order all the wreaths sponsored by our chapter for WAA. You can also mail our treasurer a check.
