Naturalization Ceremony July 3, 2016 at 4:00 and Flag Retirement Ceremony at 6:00 in Southport, NC

Be sure and attend the naturalization ceremony which is open to the public from various counties who take the oath to become United States citizens on the lawn at Fort Johnson in Southport, NC  at 4 PM on Sunday, July 3, 2016.

Carol Jutte, Vice-Regent and Diane Kuebert, regent of the Brunswick Town DAR Chapter will present flags to all  new new citizens and host a reception for them, their families and friends, and invited guests immediately after the ceremony.

Ceremony welcomes approximately 120 new citizens

At 6:00PM there will be a flag retirement ceremony. Old flags are properly destroyed at the flagpole, corner of Howe and Moore Streets (event of American Legion Post 543 and Cape Fear Council of Boy Scouts of America.)
