Monday, September 17th at 4PM Ring your Cell Phone. This is the 231st Anniversary of the signing of the Constitution

Dear Chapter Members,

We hope this message finds you and yours safe and sound as we come together as a community to recover from Hurricane Florence. As Thomas Paine said in 1776, "These are the times that try men's souls".  It has certainly been such a week for those affected by this severe weather event.

Like so much that has been disrupted, nearly all our chapter Constitution Week plans have been cancelled or indefinitely postponed. But here is where you can help.  Monday, September 17, 2018 is the 231st anniversary of the signing of the US Constitution.  Can you and those you are with on Monday at 4PM ring the bells on your cell phone to honor this most important document?

The Constitution stands as a testament to the tenacity of Americans throughout history to maintain their liberties and freedom, and to ensure those inalienable rights to every American.  Let's wherever we are collectively honor this historic document and what it means to us all.

We hope if you are able, you can join us by ringing your cell phone on Monday, 9/17 at 4PM.

May each of you remain safe through the days of recovery ahead.
