Member Stacy Brown attends 250th Anniversary of the Boston Massacre
Chapter Treasurer Stacy Brown participated in the NSDAR’s commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Boston Massacre. Following is an excerpt of the report she provided. She is pictured with President General Denise Doring VanBuren.

Wednesday night, March 4, 2020, NSDAR opened their commemoration with a dinner program with guest keynote speaker Robert J Allison, and talks about the America 250 Commission & History of the Omni Parker House Hotel.
The program was not only informative, it drew out the importance of celebrating historic events that were responsible for shaping our nation.

On Thursday morning, March 5, 2020, the NSDAR held a public event at the Granary Burying Ground, laying a wreath at the gravesite of the people who died in the Boston Massacre.
We, members of the NSDAR and; HODARS continued in three groups, touring Paul Revere House, Old State House and Old North Church, rejoining each other for lunch and a talk presented by the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company at Faneuil Hall followed by a tour of their museum.
The entire event was orchestrated flawlessly by a committee of talented NSDAR daughters and local MA DAR Chapters, Boston Police, Bostonian Society, and the Ancient and Honorable Company.
