Brunswick Town DAR Members Honored First Responders on October 11th - National DAR Day of Service

Carol Sutter and Mary Sands, delivered certificates and goodies to the Tri-Beach #1 Fire Station.

Judy Holden and Mary Sands, DAR Brunswick Town members delivered certificates and goodies to the Tri-Beach #3 Fire Station.

Gwen Casusy andn Emma-Lou Hannan Brunswick Town DAR members delivered goodies and a certificate to the Suply fire Department for their Day of Service to First Responders.

Delivered cookies and certificate of appreciation to the Ocean Isle Volunteer Fire Department this morning. Thank you for your service to the community.


 Sally Meginley, Sue Erickson, and Dana Majernik (taking photos) delivered Autumn themed baked goods to Calabash Fire Department--Station 12-1.

Jane Johnson Mary Mears and Susan Himes delivered goodies to the Public Safety Department of Bald Head Island where they serve as Volunteers First Responders. Receiving the gifts are Captain Paul Swanson and Executive Assistant Gloria Agnew.

Brunswick Town DAR member and St. James resident, Annetta Clark delivered 81 cupcakes to the St James Fire Dept. for Service To America. Jack Foggo accepted the cup cakes for the Fire Fighters and First Responders monthly meeting.

Brunswick Town DAR member, Peggy Harris went to the South Harbor Fire Station, and the fire station near the movie house, neither of which had a soul present.Peggy then thought of others whose service she appreciated and decided to put her put her home baked walnut and chocolate brownies in her mail box with a note telling about our Day of Service and thanking the postman for his service!  Sorry id not take a picture  Just wanted someone to know I did do a good deed. lol Peggy.


Norma Eckard and Barbara Griffin, Brunswick Town Chapter NSDAR Honored Southport Fire Department 1st Responders. Snacks were given to Steve Kahn, Jessy Harrel, Shelby Schwarz and Tasha Gaddy pictured and John Gaddy and Tyler Sasser were not available for the picture.
