DAR Brunswick Town Chapter at the District IX Meeting in New Bern

Linda Rivenbark, former District IX Director presented State Regent Peggy Trosell with the number 9 for District IX.


The North Carolina Society Daughters of the American Revolution held their last District IX Annual Meeting on June 4, 2014. The Richard Dobbs Spraight chapter hosted the meeting, and State Regent Peggy Troxell was in attendance. The District IX Director was Linda Rivenbark, The Vice-Director was Barbara Lewis and the Secretary-Treasurer was Teresa Ward. The new officers were installed by NC State Chaplain, Pat Hance. They are Barbara Lewis, District VII Director, member of the Rockfish Chapter, Wallace, NC;  Lisa Pomeranz, Vice-Director, member of the Brunswick Town chapter, Southport, NC; Eleanor Getz, secretary, member of the Liberty Point chapter, Fayetteville, NC and Meg Smith, treasurer, member of the Stamp Defiance Chapter, Wilmington, NC
