February 9, 2011 DAR Meeting

Assisting Lt. Col.Dennis Faver were three members of the Brittain family, all members of the Squadron. From the L to R: Cadet 2dLt Dakotah Brittain, Cadet Master Sergeant Chesnee Brittain, Lt. Col. Dennis Faver and 2dLt Norma Brittain (their mom). Unable to attend that day was the father 2dLt Charles Brittain.

The Brunswick Town Chapter of the DAR held their monthly meeting on February 9, 2011 at the 10:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall Southport, NC. Their guest speaker was Lt. Col. Dennis Faver, Commander of Brunswick County Squadron Civil Air Patrol located at Brunswick County Airport on Long Beach Road. He gave a power point presentation on the history of CAP and formation in Brunswick County.
